The interviewer smirks of the reference of Maha as south India..Most of Maharashtra itself is actually South of India, going by the Map of India and the right idea of directions. Good part of Maha even falls south of telangana ( which is considered south India) . That Maha is straight away considered as 'not' south of India is a hint of something wrong with our politico- linguo- geographic Orientation of our country....at best, Maha is west, if not south, what it surely is Not is - north.. We take proud in our culture as a whole from East to west, north to south...
